Streamline Car Seat Check Data Collection – Put the Data to Work

The National Digital Car Seat Check Form is a free resource available to all U.S. certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians. Available on paper or an electronic platform, this digital tool walks a CPST through a structured car seat check, streamlining data collection so that important information is captured along the way. CPSTs and program managers can easily download their seat check data in a format that reduces reporting burdens, allows for monitoring trends and tracking car seat distributions.

By using the NDCF, technicians can:

  • Streamline data collection
  • Access account data anytime by logging into carseatcheckform.org
  • Utilize relevant statistical reports on the NDCF Dashboard
  • Build custom reports using free data analysis tools

Technicians can input car seat check data and then use that data to monitor trends and highlight issues encountered in the field. Program managers can have access to data to create custom reports and use data to inform decisions and seek funding. In addition, car seat manufacturers and vehicle manufacturers will be able to analyze NDCF data and use it to help guide safety decisions and development of their products.

Check To Protect

Like properly using and securing car seats, checking for recalls is another way caregivers can help keep their families safe. While checking for car seat recalls, teach caregivers to check for vehicle safety recalls – anytime, anywhere. Learn how: Click here.
