Join us in launching the 2016 #Heatstroke Awareness Campaign on Wednesday, April 13th
Every 10 days, a child dies from heatstroke after being left alone in a hot vehicle. This occurs when the body isn’t able to cool itself quickly enough and the body temperature rises to dangerous levels. But these deaths are preventable.
What You Can Do
Safe Kids Worldwide is asking you to help us raise awareness about the dangers of heatstroke on April 13, the launch of their national heatstroke prevention campaign. Safe Kids has created sample Facebook and Twitter posts that you can use to spread the messages to your network.
Please join this national effort to help keep kids safe from heatstroke!
